Dr. Saugy has been treating patients on the
South Shore since 2000. His interest are
arthritis care, sports injuries, and trauma. He
performs a variety of surgical procedures
including arthroscopy Total Hip Replacement,
Total Knee Replacement, Arthroscopy, and
Fracture surgery.
Dr Saugy received his undergraduate degree
in Chemical Engineering from the University of
Rhode Island. He graduated from Brown
university Medical School in 1994. He received
his Orthopedic training at Catholic Medical
Centers of Brooklyn and Queens (now St.
Vincents). During his residency he also
trained on the Pediatric and Spine services at
Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City.
Dr. Saugy maintains privileges at Southside
Hospital in Bay Shore, New York. He is board
certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic
Surgeons.
