Dr. Tabershaw is a board-certified
orthopedic surgeon who has been
practicing orthopedics for over 20 years
in the Bay Shore area. He completed his
medical training at Georgetown
University in Washington, D.C. and his
internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center
in Manhattan. He then went on to
orthopedic residency at Columbia
Presbyterian. He has held the position of
chief of the orthopaedic department at
Southside Hospital and currently
performs surgeries at Southside as well
as New Island Hospital. He specializes in
hip and knee replacements, shoulder and
other arthroscopic surgeries as well as
sports injuries.
